Otherwise, the TV itself will feel that there is no meaning.

Image quality is the first factor to measure the merits of a television. I will analyze the picture quality of the micro-whale TV from a static perspective, and use software and actual video playback to analyze and evaluate the dynamic display effect of the micro-whale TV.

In order to allow this professional report to have a certain degree of professionalism, we specially rented a color correction instrument from a certain treasure to carry out color correction and display analysis.

1, based on the color display instrument color display test

Aunt Zhang was here a long time ago (to see the point of the article I!!) Learn X-Rite X-Rite X-Rite i1 Display Pro is a good quasi-professional school color instrument. Therefore, first rent this one to test the TV. The software used is X-Rite official software i1Profiler ver1.6.3 and third-party software dispcalGUI ver3.0.4.2 (inline Argyll CMS ver1.8.2).

As a result of the actual testing, I feel that the test result of this Eastern rent seems to have some problems. Toss N many times, the gamut test value is always low. My book's gamut space is too bad, 50% sRGB is not. The small whale TV and the new TCL at the end of last year, a 4K TV color gamut space is only about 85% of the sRGB. This is true for many tests. This result, if it was put a few years ago, is still quite good. However, with the fierce competition and technological development, the new products introduced by display manufacturers can almost reach or close to 100% sRGB. So, I have some doubts about the accuracy of this test result. In addition to seeing that the rented Dongdong was shipped in 2012, it is even more skeptical about its accuracy.

Ugh! ! I have more than 100 pieces! !

With a responsible attitude towards Zhang Aunt , I invited the latest SPYDER 5 ELITE red spider coloring instrument from DATACOLOR, a deta company, from a certain treasure. This Dongdong was just born this year, and the renter said that he only bought it less than a month. Think about this accuracy should be guaranteed. Another one hundred more! !

Test equipment: The Spyder 5 Elite is connected to the Thinkpad T430 laptop; the software Spyder 5 Elite official software ver5.0 is used. Each time after the calibration, based on the calibrated ICC configuration, the display analysis of the small whale TV is performed using the “Display Analysis” module of the Spyder5 Elite official software.

Color gamut test

When testing the micro-whale TV, I used different brightness values ​​and other parameters to perform multiple calibrations at different times to generate different ICC profiles. On this basis, I used the “display analysis” of the software to perform multiple tests. The color gamut of the microwhale TV was tested 12 times, 6 times for 100% sRGB, 4 times for 99% sRGB, 1 for 98%, and 1 for 96%. The Spyder5 Elite's official software display analysis only provides quantitative comparisons of the device under test with the sRGB standard and the Adobe RGB standard, and does not provide numerical values ​​compared to the NTSC standard. However, it will be provided at the end of the calibration, which is approximately 72% of NTSC. It can be said that the color gamut of a small whale TV basically reaches 100% of sRGB, and 72% of NTSC's color gamut is covered .

And as a comparison of the home of another 4K TV TCL D40A571U three tests, the color gamut is 98% of sRGB. After the introduction of the 4K TV BT.2020 international standard, TV manufacturers are not willing to lag behind in the color gamut. Although based on cost considerations and actual needs, they will not be BT.2020, but they are basically 100%. sRGB.

Just my books, color is still more miserable! ! Only 58% of sRGB.

Color Accuracy Test (Delta E)

After setting the brightness value and other parameters according to the requirements of the color correction software, the color accuracy of the whale TV can reach very good levels. I performed multiple tests based on different preset brightness values, and the color accuracy test results of the Little Whale TV were all excellent. The color reproduction ability of the Little Whale TV is very strong.

After calibration, the overall mean (average color difference) of the microwhoke TV ΔE can reach 1.52, and the maximum value of ΔE is 4.8. Normal professional monitors also require AverageΔE<3. In other words, after the calibration, I use a monitor with a small whale TV to do basic printing for photos that do not need to be printed.

Here again â–³E (for white)

Generally reflected by ΔE is the size of the gap between the display and the standard value, reflecting the monitor's color reproduction accuracy. The smaller the value is, the more realistic the color reproduction will be, and the higher the score, the more distorted the color reproduction.

In general, the color effects in different ΔE ranges are not the same:

The ΔE value is between 1 and 3.2. The human eye is basically unable to distinguish color differences. Only a few professional-grade displays, such as professional-grade EIZO, professional-grade Dell, and professional-grade Hewlett-Packard, etc., can do this;

The ΔE value is between 3.2 and 6.5, and those who have undergone professional training can discriminate the difference. However, ordinary people cannot observe the difference, and usually an excellent consumer-grade liquid crystal display can enter this range.

The ΔE value is between 6.5-13, the difference in color is visible, but it can be considered as the same hue;

Delta E values ​​between 13-25 are considered different shades.

ΔE values ​​greater than 25 are considered different colors.

Spyder5Elite color correction software calibration, according to the ambient light conditions to provide the brightness of the preset values ​​and other parameters, mainly for the application of the picture processing display needs, so it is recommended that the brightness value is generally 80-120nits (cd/m ^ 2). The television is far away from viewing and is watching dynamic video. In actual use, the brightness value of the television is much higher than the brightness value recommended by the color correction software.我在微鲸电视预设的“标准模式”下,进行了测试。

此时,微鲸电视ΔE的总体平均值(平均色差)为6.03,ΔE最大值为8.73。这个结果也能接受。

我将微鲸电视的亮度设为50,背光值为100,然后进行校准后,对微鲸电视进行色彩精确度测试。

微鲸电视设置的这个亮度也是我们比较常用的,此时,微鲸电视ΔE的总体平均值(平均色差)为2.32,ΔE最大值为5.39。这个结果比微鲸电视的预设“标准模式”好不少。 看来微鲸电视的几个预设模式还需要调校。尤其是那个“艳丽模式”,明显偏蓝。

而作为对比参照的家里另一台4K电视TCL D40A571U,在色彩精确度表现上是明显不如微鲸电视的。三次测试的结果,AverageΔE分别是8.66、7.76、8.14。

屏幕均匀性测试

对电视而言,屏幕均匀性对观看时画质影响相对较小。人眼对屏幕均匀性的宽容度是比较高的。不借助专业仪器,单凭肉眼,你是很难判断屏幕均匀性情况的。当然,如果你肉眼已经能够判断一个屏幕不均匀,那么你就应该换掉你的这块屏幕了。

从Spyder5Elite的测试结果来看,微鲸电视屏幕的色彩亮度的均匀性没有它的色彩准确度表现那么抢眼。而亮度的均匀性表现一般。

当电视亮度过高时,色彩亮度均匀性是最差的。

总体而言,屏幕亮度从100%到50%,屏幕均匀性随着亮度降低而提高的,微鲸电视在亮度最大时最大偏差区域偏差为19%。微鲸电视大概是底端侧入式的背光系统,屏幕从下部到上部,偏差逐渐加大。

从屏幕均匀性测试的结果来看,屏幕亮度过高其实并不是一件好事。平时看电视时,亮度调节过高,屏幕均匀性会降低,就不能获得最佳画质,另一方面,由于亮度过高更容易造成视疲劳损害眼睛,同时亮度过高也会缩短液晶电视背光模组的寿命。

亮度、对比度及不同亮度的白点色温测试

从测试结果来看,微鲸电视的亮度确实如其宣传所说的亮度较高,实测最高达到了369.6nits(cd/m^2)。对比度和白点色温在不同亮度下,表现也非常稳定。但是,微鲸电视与目前很多LED液晶电视一样,存在白点色温偏高的情况。白点色温在10700K左右,这是一个较高的色温。这在某种程度上,可能会对画质造成一些影响。必须说明的是,我在测试时,电视的色温一直设置在“标准”状态下。而实际测得的这个色温明显偏冷。虽然,我们东亚地区的人的视觉习惯于冷色温,常推荐以9300K为准,但微鲸电视预设的这个“标准”色温偏高了一点。

白点色温设置偏高,电视画面在某种场景下会偏蓝。比如,下面两个画面。

从墙面颜色可以看出,微鲸电视画面中墙面偏蓝色,而白点色温为6700K的笔记本电脑在这方面要好很多。

白点色温偏高,似乎是现在LED背光液晶电视的通病。家里的TCl液晶电视白点色温表现更加糟糕。

TCL电视的白点色温达到12000多。在同样的场景下,它的画面偏蓝的情况就更严重。

我在家电卖场观察,发现国内LED液晶电视厂家现在似乎都有将白点色温调高的倾向,来迎合国内用户对冷光屏的偏爱,这造成的结果就是在某些场景下(尤其是夜景、暗场)画面会偏蓝。TCL如此,小米如此,微鲸电视同样也如此。当然,我这个微鲸电视在这方面要比家里的TCL要好很多,不过依然有此问题。

微鲸电视的图像调节供提供了6个预设模式(标准模式、电影模式、艳丽模式、运动模式、游戏模式、显示器模式),并提供了自定义模式。除了电影模式和显示器模式,另外4个预设模式的白点色温都是偏高的。我设置的自定义模式中色温选择的是“标准”,而实测为10800也是偏高的。

通过亮度、对比度以及白点色温测试,显示微鲸电视在对比度和色温一致性方面表现非常好,但白点色温存在偏高的情况。当然,目前国内电视厂家似乎都偏爱如此设置,但个人觉得这种白点色温的设置值得商榷。

色调响应测试

按照校色仪推荐的亮度值进行校准之后,微鲸电视的色调响应表现还是比较好的,gamma值为2.2的行业标准值。

但是,将微鲸电视设置为其图像预设值的“标准模式”时,微鲸电视的色调响应表现就不那么令人满意了。gamma值变成了2.4,与标准值有偏差。色调响应曲线也不够平滑。

Spyder5Elite的官方软件中,对“灰阶”的解释是测试的屏幕从黑到白的过度中,各段的色温分布。在《Kal的HCFR终极灰阶及色彩校正手册》中,强调灰阶及色彩校正的重要性,但这个手册咱还没读完,有些专业知识还比较欠缺,水平有限,不能对Spyder5Elite的显示分析中的“灰阶”曲线做出解读。贴出来供懂得人解读。

基于校色仪测试的总体评价

Spyder5Elite的显示分析一共有六大项,完成各项测试后,软件报告还会提供一个整体评价。

我对微鲸电视一共进行了5次六大项全部进行的完整测试。Spyder5Elite的综合测试结果结论如下:

1.电视亮度值50、背光22,其余参数默认值的总体测试结果

2.电视亮度值50、背光30,其余参数默认值的总体测试结果

3.电视亮度值50、背光100,其余参数默认值的总体测试结果

4.电视亮度值59、背光100、其余参数默认值。

基于Spyder5Elite的测试,微鲸电视在色域、对比度、色彩均匀度以及色彩精确度上表现优异。微鲸电视的色彩还原能力非常强,完全体现了IPS屏幕的特质,画面色彩丰富、准确,在同价位电视机中当属于佼佼者。这点在使用微鲸电视观看影音节目时得到体现。但微鲸电视在色彩调校上,仍有一定的提升空间,主要就是白点色温。上面的Spyder5Elite测试结果中,白点一项打分都是“0”。虽然 微鲸电视的白点色温偏高的设置对画面 实际 影响要比其他品牌电视要好很多,但仍然值得商榷 。而微鲸电视的六个图像预设模式:标准、电影、艳丽、运动、游戏、显示器的色彩调校还不那么完美,有进一步提升的空间。

必须说明的是,俺的测试仅针对张大妈这里得到的这么一台电视一个样本。
