In terms of exterior design, the Haval H4 boasts a full and dynamic side profile, similar to the H6, though the exact dimensions are not yet disclosed. However, it's expected to be significantly larger than the H2. The rear of the car features a slightly raised shape, incorporating design elements seen on the H6, but with a less narrow taillight setup. Beneath the left taillight, the Haval H4 logo serves as a clear indicator of its new model status. The rear bumper is well-designed, featuring dual exhaust pipes on both sides—these are functional rather than just decorative, adding a strong visual and mechanical presence.
Inside, the Haval H4 follows the same design philosophy as the H2S and the new H6, offering a clean and elegant interior. Power outputs are 139 horsepower, 169 horsepower, and 197 horsepower respectively. The 1.5T engine, codenamed GW4B15, is a newly developed unit by Great Wall Motors. In terms of fuel efficiency, the official combined consumption figures are 6.9L/100km for the 1.3T, 6.8L/100km for the 1.5T, and 8.3L/100km for the 2.0T.
Expected to launch at the end of this year, the Haval H4 is anticipated to be priced around 75,000 yuan. Its release is expected to strengthen Great Wall’s dominance in the compact SUV segment, putting significant pressure on competitors such as Changan, Geely, and Zotye.
