Recently, from the European Lighting Association (ELC), the American Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), the Japan Electric Ball Industry Association and the Japan Lighting Apparatus Industry Association (JELMA&JLA), the Indian Light Source and Component Manufacturers Association (ECLOMA), the China Lighting Association Representatives of the (CALI) and the Taiwan Lighting Exporters Association (TLFEA) held the fourth meeting of the LED Working Group in Delhi, India.

At present, the National Energy Efficiency Administration of India advocates the implementation of 100 LED street lamp projects in various regions of the country and is preparing guidance related to street lamps. The Indian Association of Light Sources and Components Manufacturers was also invited to prepare relevant specifications for government procurement and end-users of LED street lamps.
China Lighting Association introduced the design project of the China Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo and the nightscape reconstruction project of the Nanpu Bridge at the opening ceremony of the Expo. China is at the forefront of the world in LED lighting applications. Many lighting projects have achieved ideal design results through the use of LED technology. However, in some projects, there are some problems with the quality of LED lighting products. Raising the quality of LED lighting products and the quality of lighting effects are issues that China needs to pay attention to in the LED lighting engineering practice.
