On the date, the first phase of the three key projects of 5 billion LED epitaxial chips, 5 million sapphire crystals and 5 million sapphire cutting and polishing projects of Changzhi Photoelectric Industrial Park was formally completed and put into production, marking the official completion of the most complete LED front-end industrial chain in China. Changzhi Photoelectric Industrial Park is an LED strategic emerging industrial base built by Changzhi City. It has a low-temperature co-fired ceramic packaging technology, a key technology for industrialization of large-scale epitaxy sapphire substrate crystals, and an LED backlight system technology for large-screen LCD TVs. There are many domestic LED core technologies such as epitaxy and chip manufacturing technologies. During the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, the park is expected to invest 8 to 10 billion yuan to realize a production value of 20 billion yuan. At present, it has accumulatively completed investments of nearly 2 billion yuan, and achieved breakthroughs in key projects for industrial development. Changzhi Hi-tech Industry Investment Co., Ltd., as the “leader” in the development of LED industry projects in Changzhi City, has continued to draw on the advanced technologies of world-renowned optoelectronic companies in recent years. The overall level of the company has increased substantially. Recently, it established itself with Taiwan’s Huayu Group and Taiwan. Electronic Industry Co., Ltd. has signed a framework agreement for comprehensive strategic cooperation and production of LED lighting packaging products, which will have a profound impact on further promoting the development of the optoelectronics industry in Changzhi and expanding the depth of cross-strait industrial cooperation. As the key construction project of Changzhi Hi-tech Industry Investment Co., Ltd., the first phase of the first-phase project of 5 billion epitaxial wafers, 5 million sapphire crystals, and 5 million sapphire cutting and polishing projects was completed, marking the first lining in China. The entire photovoltaic industry chain and vertically integrated industrial cluster structure with bottom materials, epitaxy, chips, packages, and television backlighting are basically formed, and the most complete patent pool for LED independent intellectual property in China is gradually established.
