LG enters VR and pushes VR heads - UltraGear

In the first half of this year, LG demonstrated a prototype of a virtual reality head-up, and said that it will cooperate with Valve to manufacture and use Valve's SteamVR platform in the headlights. Although the news has been well-known to the public, the company still did not provide the public with more important details about the head-up display. However, the latest news shows that LG has registered a trademark for this product and chose a name - UltraGear. The trademark was found on a website in the Netherlands and was issued by the EUIPO under the ninth product category. This series includes personal computers, laptops, monitors, external devices, HUDs, headphones, and VR headsets. Currently known information has only one name, registered trademark, and belongs to the ninth category, so we can't confirm whether the name corresponds to the VR head display. If not, then a beautiful misunderstanding is better. Of course, we can still believe that we will soon be able to see LG's VR headline, perhaps at CES in 2018; if the guesswork is correct, LG will take it for granted to register a name in advance. As of now, we know more limited information. What we can see is a head-mounted prototype. Understand that this head display will be configured with two 3.64-inch LED display screens with a resolution of 1440x1280 and will be applied to and The HTC Vive is very similar to the Lighthouse tracking station and controller; of course, before the official release, the variables may occur at any time, so it's all right to look ahead and satisfy curiosity.
