In Aunt Zhang’s first original post, which is dedicated to my EDC (Everyday Carry) that has accompanied me for the past few years, everything here feels familiar. We all know what EDC means, but I won't delve into the details. Instead, I want to focus on the timeline and share some personal stories.
About 13 years ago, when I joined the knife community, I first encountered the eternal topic of EDC. It was around that time that I learned about the concept of EDC, but it wasn’t until 2014 that I took my first proper EDC picture. As graduation approached, I started to pay more attention to these things.
My early interest in Han Han was sparked by a base friend. I even bought a solo group through him, and later, he recommended another one for my collection.

After Sony let me down, I turned to Nokia’s compact offerings, pairing them with an iPad for my mobile needs. During that period, work kept me largely indoors.

Over the past three years, I’ve come to realize that I truly enjoy the lifestyle associated with EDC. There’s something deeply satisfying about having the right tools for your day-to-day activities.
This journey has been both educational and fun, and I look forward to sharing more experiences in the future.
