According to internal tests, the LEDs achieve a so-called world-class brightness with low energy consumption.
Toyota Synthetic has applied the blue LED crystal growth technology developed over the years to improve the structure of gallium nitride (GaN) crystals in the new LED light source, and also uses flip chip technology to achieve good heat dissipation. The LEDs automotive headlamps achieve high brightness of 2,300 lm and can be used in dual-function systems that produce low and high beam from a single source.
Toyota Synthetic said that the use of such LEDs headlamps will help reduce the energy consumption of electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles and other next-generation vehicles, and is expected to be widely used as an environmentally friendly product in the future.
The purpose of Toyota Synthetic is to continue to develop various types of headlamp LED light sources to meet market demand.
