It is reported that China's first high-generation line independently built and initially mass-produced - the BOE Hefei 6th-generation line has been fully production by the end of April this year, and reached 90,000 glass substrates per month, three months ahead of schedule. After BOE Beijing’s 8.5th-generation line was put into production in June this year, a full range of LCD screens from 1.8 inches to 55 inches will be fully realized in China.
The 6th generation BOE Hefei line covers 37 inches of display products, including 18.5-inch and 21.5-inch computer LCD screens, LCD screens for 26-inch and 32-inch TVs, and other mainstream products, which not only fills up the 32-inch LCD screen in China. The blank has also changed the situation in which LCD TVs in large- and medium-size TVs are all dependent on imports, effectively alleviating the shortage of domestic TV makers.
Up to now, BOE Hefei 6th-generation line has owned well-known customers at home and abroad such as Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Lenovo, Samsung, LG, TPV, Acer, Great Wall, Hisense, Konka, Changhong, Skyworth, and Haier. It is understood that since December of last year, BOE Hefei's six-month monthly comprehensive product yield has remained above 95%, and the highest single-day product yield has exceeded 98%, and its construction speed, product yield, and production ramp rate have all reached the international level. The first-class level is expected to produce more than 10 million LCD screens during the year.
