Pass iPhone 5 into the final test in September

According to foreign media reports, 9to5Mac, a US technology blogging website focused on the development trend of Apple products, reported that the Apple iPhone 5 smartphone has entered the final testing phase; if no accident occurs, the new iPhone is expected to be available in September this year.

At Apple's 2011 Global Developers Conference (WWDC) conference held on Monday (June 6th), due to the company's failure to announce the launch of the new iPhone, its share price dropped by 1.6% on that day. American investment agency Gleacher & Co. Analyst Brian Marshall said earlier that given Apple's failure to introduce the new iPhone this summer, the iPhone’s sales this year are expected to be lowered from the original 80 million to 75 million, and the phone will be in 2012. Sales volume is expected to be reduced from the original 100 million to 95 million.

Gene Munster, an American investment bank Piper Jaffray analyst, said that Apple is expected to launch the new iPhone around September this year. He said in a research report that Apple’s iPhone sales in the quarter of September are expected to reach 21 million.

Reuters quoted three people in the statement in April this year, said that Apple's business and industry is expected to start production of iPhone 5 in July this year, its official release time will be in September this year.

At the beginning of last month, there was another rumor that Apple was in discussions with U.S. mobile operator Verizon Wireless and that the content involved iOS 5 will have wireless upgrade capabilities. The latest rumor from the 9to5Mac website stated that it is not clear whether Verizon Wireless Networks will support the iPhone's 3G FaceTime video chat feature and whether the other companies' negotiations have made significant progress.

Compared with iPhones sold by other mobile operators, the version of the iOS operating system used by the Verizon Wireless iPhone is relatively backward. At present, the highest version is iOS 4.2.8. It is reported that after the release of the iPhone 5, the iOS version adopted by Verizon Wireless will be consistent with the corresponding versions of other mobile operators.
