The "Planning" proposes to take advantage of the rapid development of the global semiconductor lighting industry during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, to give play to the comparative advantages of Shandong Province in the research and development and production of semiconductor lighting industry, and to build four bases in Jinan, Weifang, Qingdao and Binzhou. The "Plan" proposes to provide a strong guarantee in strengthening the government's guidance, improving the risk investment mechanism, improving the ability of innovation and industrialization, strengthening the construction of the talent team, strengthening the standardization of semiconductor lighting, and accelerating the development of related supporting industries, and ensuring that the semiconductor lighting industry is in the process. Rapid development during the "11th Five-Year Plan" period.
The research and industrial development of semiconductor lighting technology in Shandong Province started earlier. It has the State Key Laboratory of Crystal Materials of Shandong University.
