On the morning of January 5th, the boosting and expansion project of Dalian 500kV Yanshui Substation which took more than one year was completed and put into operation. This marked the first 500 kV urban indoor substation in Dalian to be built in Dalian. (This is the second closed 500 kV urban indoor substation following the Shanghai World Expo)

The substation is located in Xingwan Bay Baiyunyan Water in Dalian City Trade Center and covers an area of ​​only 20,000 square meters. The first phase of the project was started in early 2004. In September 2005, the 220 kV switching station was completed and delivered power.

In October last year, in order to meet the growing demand for electricity in Dalian, the Liaoning company decided to upgrade and expand the 500-kV Yanshui substation. The boosting and expansion project of the Yanshui Substation includes the addition of two sets of 1000-megavolt-ampere transformers for the primary equipment, the addition of 220 kilovolt power distribution devices such as the main secondary-interval breakers and branch busbars for the No. 1 and No. 2 transformers, capacitors and reactors. And 66 kilovolt power distribution equipment for transformers and stations. In accordance with the "two types of three new" construction standards, Liaoning companies have invested in advanced equipment and technology. All the equipment makes the user fully enclosed GIS combination of electrical appliances, the transformer and GIS using oil and gas casing docking, GIS partial discharge on-line detection, video surveillance and other leading equipment in the country's leading; in the wiring, the substation uses a 500 kV inner bridge The main wiring (ie, two main transformers, two 500 kV input cables, and three sets of switch wiring methods), 220 kV dual bus four-section wiring, and 66 kV single bus wiring have achieved significant advantages. Complementary role.

At the same time, four 500-volt transmission lines on the same tower are also used on the same tower, that is, two 500-kV and two 220-kV lines are grouped together on a tower, and a 500-kV transmission line is connected to the urban area. In the urban area, it is difficult to find the route of energy transmission line for 500 kV substations and the environmental assessment problem. The application of this technology is the first time in the country.

The substation not only covers a small area, has a reasonable layout and a beautiful environment, but also realizes “five remotes” (telemetry, remote signaling, remote adjustment, remote control, remote viewing) according to unattended design.

Due to Yanshui’s change in pressure and expansion, the construction period is tight, the task is heavy, and the construction is complex. Especially, the extension of the later period will affect the power supply range and equipment, resulting in a weak Dalian grid. In order to avoid instability caused by boosting to the regional power grid, the Liaoning Provincial Electric Power Company has held many seminars and discussions on construction schemes of Yanshui Power Transmission and Transformation Project and scientifically formulated construction transition plans to ensure normal production and life supply in Dalian during construction expansion. . The boost operation of the 500 kV Yanshui Substation forms a triangular network with two 500 kV substations in Nanguanling and Jinjia of Dalian.
