China, Beijing – Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) has officially joined forces with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Robotics Institute through the Industrial Partnership Program (IPP). This collaboration aims to drive technological innovation and support the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, aligning with China’s national strategy to build a more innovative and technologically advanced nation.
As a top-tier university located in the heart of the Greater Bay Area, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology has identified unmanned automation and robotics as one of its key strategic research areas. The Robotics Institute focuses on autonomous systems, manufacturing automation, human-robot interaction, and smart environments such as homes and cities. ADI, a global leader in high-performance analog, mixed-signal, and digital signal processing technologies, specializes in sensors, data converters, amplifiers, RF and microwave ICs, and power management solutions. Its expertise is helping Chinese companies and academic institutions advance their unmanned automation applications, including robotic systems that are faster, smarter, and more efficient.
