Qorvo Smart Home Gateway Platform Wins Industry's First ZigBee 3.0 Certification

September 8, 2016 – Qorvo, Inc., an innovative RF solutions provider for the connected world, today announced that its smart home gateway platform for its low-power wireless business unit (formerly GreenPeak Technologies) has become the industry's first ZigBee 3.0 certified The solution is ready to allow software developers to quickly integrate standard features into smart home applications.

ZigBee 3.0 combines the best features of existing ZigBee smart home configurations in a single unified protocol. It also includes ZigBee Green Power, which supports battery-free energy-consuming devices. ZigBee 3.0 facilitates communication and interoperability in different smart devices for home automation, lighting control, building automation, retail services, healthcare and telecommunications services.

Lee Ratliff, principal analyst at IHS Markit Connectivity and the Internet of Things, said: "ZigBee 3.0 certified platforms and devices are important tools for developers. These platforms reduce complexity and help developers reduce time to market. Bringing more companies to the ZigBee ecosystem. This is especially important for the newly revised ZigBee 3.0 standard, which helps developers eager to roll out compliance products to meet suppressed demand."

Cees Links, general manager of Qorvo's low-power wireless business unit, said: "Getting the industry's first ZigBee 3.0 standard certification strengthens Qorvo's leadership in providing a complete solution for the IoT market. ZigBee 3.0 software development kit for smart home gateways ( The SDK) allows software developers to quickly and cost-effectively deliver solutions using sophisticated and well-documented models. Combined with the multi-channel and multi-protocol GP712 communication chip from SDK and Qorvo, the gateway allows the gateway to handle a variety of different connection standards. Developers can now Different application protocols are plugged in as needed. Several leading gateway manufacturers have begun to develop ZigBee 3.0 gateways using Qorvo's GP712."

The new ZigBee 3.0 SDK for Smart Home Gateway provides optimized design templates for fast system integration. Developers can focus on building systems without having to delve into the details of the ZigBee 3.0 standard. By adding the GP712 wireless communication controller chip to the new ZigBee 3.0 SDK for smart home gateways, multi-channel communication is ensured, ensuring seamless communication with a wide range of sensors, controllers and systems. Multi-stack protocol capabilities and an extensible software architecture allow application developers to smoothly integrate current and future standards.

What is a wall GFCI socket?
A wall GFCI socket is different from conventional sockets. In the event of a ground fault, a wall GFCI socket will trip and quickly stop the flow of electricity to prevent serious injury.
Wall GFCI socket protect You From Electric Shock Due To:
1.With safe lock protection function, wall GFCI socket safety is improved.when miswired, wall GFCI sockets have no power and can not be reset,so it is more safe than conventional socket.
2.The wall GFCI socket includes end-of -life monitoring function,it can not reset correctly when the wall GFCI socket reaches the end of life.
3.Improved resistance to surge and corrosion.
4.Easier installation.(installation instructions enclosed)
