Tektronix DPO7000 series newly supports MIPI function

Tektronix announced that it has added a series of enhanced functions to the DPO7000 series oscilloscopes, including support for the Mobile Communications Processor Interface (MIPI) D-PHY standard and the new version of UART / RS-232 protocol analysis software. In addition, the DPO7000 series has added four sets of passive probes and three analysis tools in the standard configuration.

The new Tektronix MIPI solution (OpTIon D-PHY) includes an automated configuration library and implementation method (MOI), which can be used to test the D-PHY physical layer standard. When implemented on the DPO7000 series, the new version of the DPOJET jitter analysis software settings library includes complete real-time oscilloscope measurements listed in the latest D-PHY Compatibility Test Specification (CTS).

Compared with other more restrictive alternatives on the market, the Tektronix solution allows users to perform complete and extensive testing, from verification to preliminary verification, and even more in-depth feature analysis, while providing custom restrictions. The test report can provide detailed information for various parameters in each measurement program. In addition, the Tektronix MIPI solution is scalable and can be used for the initial use of a new generation of MIPI standards, such as M-PHY.

Through the DPO7000 trigger function (for RS232) and the new UART / RS-232 protocol analysis software (PDU-R), engineers can quickly decode the decoded data and the captured waveform as long as they select the data in the result table Connected together, it can effectively save the time required for debugging and verification operations using widely used existing standards.
