First advantage - cheap
Sony said on the E3 that the PS VR will be released on October 13th, with a bare-metal price of $399 (RMB 2,627). This price includes the main body, in-ear headphones and various cables. The camera and PS Move controller cost about $500 (RMB 3,292). Even so, the price is competitive with the $599 Oculus Rift and the $799 HTC vive. The second advantage - PS VR does not have to match high-performance PC
I believe that people who care about VR know that PS VR needs to be used with PS4. HTC vive and Oculus Rift need to be used with high-performance PCs. For example, the recommended configuration for HTC vive is as follows:

According to analysis by Piers Harding-Rolls, market research firm IHS gaming industry analyst, PCs of this or higher configuration may have a global presence of 17 million. If the user is assembled separately, it may cost an additional $1,000. In contrast, according to Piers Harding-Rolls' estimates, the number of PS4s with PS VR may reach 53 million at the end of the year, a figure that far exceeds the 17 million mentioned above. More critically, a PS4 is priced at only one-third to one-quarter of the price of a high-performance PC. And PS4 and PS VR can also form a mutual sales promotion.
The third advantage - mature retail and distribution network
This is actually very well understood. Messages that the Steam platform may not be able to access properly appear, and the relationship between HTC vive and the Steam gaming platform is very important. Sony's PS Store was difficult when it entered the Chinese market, but its performance after coming in was still stable.
However, the analysis is much more, the good and bad of the three, still have to go public to see the clue.
