Jiangxi Province officially issued "Photovoltaic Power Generation Planning in Jiangxi Province"

Recently, Jiangxi Province officially issued the "Photovoltaic Power Generation Plan in Jiangxi Province." The "Planning" proposes that by the end of 2015, it will initially establish an institutional mechanism to support the rapid and sound development of photovoltaic power generation and strive to increase the installed capacity by about 200 megawatts per year. By the end of 2015, the installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation will be about 600 megawatts. By the end of 2017, it will build 1,000 megawatts by 2020. 1800 MW was built at the end of the year.

According to the “Planning”, photovoltaic power generation in Jiangxi Province will focus on industrial and commercial enterprises for rooftop photovoltaic power generation, photovoltaic power generation for residential households, photovoltaic power generation for public facilities, and independent solar power stations. By 2017, the province's industrial and commercial enterprises will have installed 660 megawatts of rooftop photovoltaic power generation, accounting for 66% of the total installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation; installed 100 megawatts of public photovoltaic power generation capacity, accounting for 10%; and installed 70 megawatts of residential photovoltaic power generation capacity. It accounted for 7%; the installed capacity of the independent photovoltaic power station was 170 MW, accounting for 17%.

It is expected that after the smooth implementation of the “Planning”, by 2017, the photovoltaic power generation in Jiangxi Province will reach 1 billion kilowatt-hours, saving 300,000 tons of standard coal annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 630,000 tons, 4,393 tons of sulfur dioxide, and 2,510 tons of soot. The energy structure in Jiangxi Province has been further optimized, and the level of ecological civilization has been further improved.
