Lucid Motors, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, has launched a pre-sale plan for its 1,000-horsepower Lucid Air four-door luxury electric car. The standard prepaid amount is $2,500, while the "255 release" prepayment is $25,500, but we don't know what 255 stands for. It is said that the new car has a cruising range of about 640km for a single charge, and the dual motor can provide up to 1000 horsepower output power with an acceleration time of 2.5 seconds per 100 kilometers.
