Atmel® has introduced the next-generation maXTouch® U-series, and is the world's first capacitive touchscreen solution that does not sacrifice performance due to the novel design of display devices. The proliferation of smart devices combined with the innovation of display technology has presented many new challenges to touch screen technology.
